My parents are so talented. I feel like I get a little creative edge from them, but not quite to their magnitude yet! When I was little, my dad was a huge woodworker. He’d create all sorts of things for us kids. My mom is a very talented painter. When I was little, my dad created Bunny Easter Baskets for us kids. I loved them so that when I started my own family I begged him to recreate them for my own family. Which he did! Started with one for my husband, and then adding one last year for my daughter Jolene’s first Easter. The newer one is painted on the inside too, and the older ones are not- so I’ll have to fix that of course. My mom painted the adorable bunnies on them, and included a Giraffe in the arms of one of the bunnies for my daughter because she has a certain giraffe stuffed animal she is obsessed with.
I was saving this post for when I could upload a copy of the pattern/template for you to make your own- but my dad never created one on paper, he just did it from memory. So! I’m settling with just showing them off to you and hoping it gives you some inspiration.
