Cake Circles To Room Decor
24 Feb
Some chefs get bored and make up a new meal with whatever they find in the cupboards. Some crafters get bored and create decor with whatever materials they find around the house. Which is exactly what happened when I turned Cake Circles to Room Decor.
I had these 10″ Wilton Cake Circles left over from a cake I had (made) attempted to make. I decided to use them to make some room decor for Jo’s room. Still confused what I’m making? I think I was too at this point. Keeping reading

I took 9 of the circles and hot glued 3 of them together, making 3 groups of 3 glued together.
Then I hot glued a ribbon around the edge of them.
Hot glue a hanging mechanism
I mod podged scrapbook paper to the front and after it was dry I added vinyl.
and voila!

What do you think? I like how it adds dimension and is cute and classy. Plus the circles add shape to a blank wall

Very cute. That’s what I do too. If you can’t use it for what it is intended for, use it for something else. There is always more than one use for all that you have.
Thank you for sharing.
that turned out so cute, you are so creative.
Great idea! They look lovely.
