Dermagist Skin Care Review & Giveaway {CLOSED}

12 Nov

When I was in high school, I never had acne. While it seemed like every one around me shared the struggle of teenage acne, I felt lucky to have beautiful skin. I had a friend (Katie May, if you are reading this- I’m putting you on blast!) that used to curse me with zits when I would tease her or be a brat. She’d push her finger on my face and wish for a zit. My time would come later, it turned out. I get adult acne. The joke is on me now. While every one around me is finished with the bout of pimples, it is a daily battle for me. I began getting bad acne the year I turned 20. I have tried every thing; proactive, skin ID, Wal-mart’s Acne Free 3 step system. When I was contacted by a representative at Dermagist to do a review, I was ecstatic. I would love to find the answer to my adult acne woes. I jumped right in it and ordered the Ultimate Clarifying System

Here is my line up! (Click it to enlarge it if needed)

Dermagist Product Review

You can see in my before picture that although I didn’t have any huge painful zits, my skin was blotchy. After week 1, you can see the blemishes had decreased and my pimples were smaller. By week 2, all I had left were some small blemishes. About a month into it, during our San Francisco trip, my skin was clear. Even my uneven tones from scars seemed to have a more even tone to them. My make up (although lacking in my after picture) was more easily applied and easier to blend.

  The thing I loved most about this product wasn’t that it eliminated my acne, it was that it clarified my skin. I now have a beautiful, radiant look to my skin. My make up goes on better. I’m no longer caking it on to hide blemishes. Now that I’ve put my skin condition public, what are some things about your skin you’d like to improve? Dermagist has many products to cover all your concerns. Click here to see their list of products. Want to find your solution to your skin problems? If this is open to Canada, please enter me.
    I learned that their products have been seen in magazines like Redbook and Vogue.
    I’d love to try the Acne Scar Fading Cream.

    They have a refer a friend program with some nice rewards. I would like to try the Ultimate Clarifying System. I would also like to try Eye Revolution Gel. There are severakl more products that I think I would like too. Like you, I never had a skin problem in my teens, but mine started when I was expecting my second child, and has been giving me problems ever since, and he is almost 36 years old. I would love to find something that really works because I hate feeling like I have to have makeup on just to run to the grocery store.

    I didn’t realize I had so much power to conjure up zits on others! Such force, I never knew! Haha! Clay read what you wrote and said I was a mean friend. I’m not arguing. But, I love your guts, does that sorta make up for it?
    Okay, so since I spent my entire teenage existence covered in zits, my skin tone is insanely uneven. Plus 4 kids kinda racked my face up, too. So the Skin Tone Correcting System looks like a winner to me! Love you Mandy Babe!

    I love that they have such a variety of products – anti-aging ones I’d enjoy, as well as the acne ones which my teenage daughters would like to try. Thanks for a fun review and giveaway!
