DIY Modern Clock

16 Nov

At our local Hobby Lobby store you can purchase Clock pieces for making your own clock. My husband had this idea (I know! I love it when he gets crafty with me!) to go modern with a clock. I’m going to show you our step by step DIY Modern Clock.

Here’s what we did:

At Hobby Lobby we purchased the clock pieces, the wooden numbers for our clock, aerosol finishing spray, the paint of our choice, and the hardware to hang our clock. We had the piece of wood we wanted to use in our scrap pile.
DIY Modern ClockWe painted our numbers, and then sealed them with the gloss finisher.DIY Modern ClockAnd my husband did the drilling (I don’t trust myself with power tools) and we created this clock!DIY Modern Clock

We originally had larger, darker hands for it buuuut they got bent. So we used these until we can go get more.
