Felt Heart Wreath

Original source: The Idea Room
I originally attempted this thinking it looked SUPER easy, cheap and fun to do. I was only right about that middle word- cheap. It was so time consuming for this working mom of a 8 month old that it no longer was easy or fun. But I must finish! Or so I told myself… then I ran out of felt. And so did my supplier of this specialty felt I purchased. So this craft is half done, and now labeled as craftastrophic.
I purchased textured felt on clearance at Hobby Lobby. 10 cents a sheet vs 50 cents. There were only 14 sheets left and I convinced myself that would be enough. Next time, I know I will need 25-30 sheets.
I cut 6- 3″ inch circles per 8×11 sheet.
Fold in half once, fold in half again- and pin to foam wreath.Felt Heart Wreath

Because I ran out of felt, I had to space my circles further apart (ruining the cool swoopy look to it) and the backside did not get done… meaning it only belongs on the wall now… hahaha. Oh well. Still kind of cool, right?

I love your title. I have had quite a few Craftastrophes too ; ) But, I actually think your wreath looks pretty good.
