I find myself always having a cute and clever gift idea in my head, but then when I go to carry it out I realize just how expensive it is to gather all the supplies I wanted. Especially when it comes to giving gifts to “friends for a season”, like school teachers (although I will be the first to admit that some school teachers are “friends for reason” or “lifetime”). This week I’ve featured teacher gifts that are inexpensive, can be customized, and easy to put together. Today, I bring you another one. This time, from Funky Polkadot Giraffe comes a Back To School Survival Kit that is complete with a printable supply list for your ease of constructing the gift basket.
She offers the supply list and face plate download here as well. I love this idea of giving it in a bucket as well. What teacher couldn’t use an extra bucket for storage around a classroom? You could also upcycle a box. Or better yet, those 12×12 canvas cubby boxes are incredibly handy and very easy to customize for your teacher.
Have you put together your Back To School Survival Kit yet? How did you package it? What did you include inside?
