Harvest Blessings

6 Sep

It’s time to bust out some autumn decor. In my previous post, I mentioned how I scored a great deal on some metal signs at Hobby Lobby. I bought them last winter when they had all of their fall stuff on sale for 90% off. Each one of these signs, measuring 12×9, cost me 50 cents. 50 CENTS! No brainer. I grabbed every last one. I was a little worried as to what exactly I could do with them, given the autumn colors I felt I was pretty limited. Flash forward a couple seasons (unless you live in Arizona where there are no seasons, then fast forward a few months) and it’s fall again- plenty to do with these signs! I started with a Harvest Blessings sign.

The font I used is called “Lobster” and is a free download from dafont.com
The pumpkins I’ve had for quite some time, I purchased them in the Silhouette store for 99 cents. They are Design id #3727 by Cali Arroyo.
The leaves are called “3 Flourished Leaves” by Snapdragon Snippets, Design id #21307. I own many of Snapdragon Snippets/Daley Designs – they are amazing and very talented at digital design! Don’t you love the design inside the leaves? I’ve been waiting a long time to be able to use them on something. I bought them when they were a new release and have sat watching them in my library thinking “what can I do with those?…. what can I do with those?…”

What do you think? Simple but cute, right?
