Knitted Pumpkin Hat

7 Nov

My cousin Mallory is a very talented lady when it comes to knitting, crochet, HANDSPUN yarn, etc. Last year for Halloween, she made my Roslyn’s Cabbage Patch Kid beanie… this year, my dad had her make a knitted Pumpkin Hat for a photoprop…

It might seem like I’m biased because I started by bragging that she’s my cousin, but seriously she is AMAZINGLY talented. Her work is high quality and she was able to free hand it based on a simple measurement we emailed her.

Do you see that tag tied to the hat? That is an adjustable pull string! So we could pull it smaller for baby Zealand and release it for 3 year old Jolene. Incredible. She made the pattern up herself. The colors were spot on for both the orange pumpkin and the multicolored brown stem.
If you want quality work, check her out. She has an etsy shop, and a facebook page showcasing her work. You will not be disappointed. Tell her I sent you.

Adorable! And by that I mean the models as well as the hat they’re wearing! 🙂
