If there is one thing my kids and I love to do, it’s send cards to long distance relatives. What usually happens is we pick out a card at the store, then develop photo prints of recent happenings and mail them together. Sometimes, the cards and photos sit in the envelope for days on end because I forget to walk to the mailbox and stick it in the outgoing slot. I had researched online companies that will mail your card for you directly from their site, but either the prices were skyrocket or they didn’t offer the option of including a personal photo. Then I was contacted by Cardstore.com to see about reviewing their site for them. The timing was very coincidental considering my recent web surfing for a solution to my issues. The more I browsed cardstore.com the more the excitement grew. Had I found my online site to solve my card sending crisis? Putting it to the test, I looked into sending a personal photo through the snail mail. Ta-da! Mailed my own card with cardstore.com
It was fast and the website is easy to use. I was able to upload my photo to the website and personalize the card with my own message and signature. They even have a huge selection of fonts to choose from!
Here’s the best part… you can either mail it to yourself to address and send out OR mail it directly from the site to your recipient! The whole thing (including postage) costs less than buying a card at the store, printing my photos and mailing it!
I’m so excited that my photo card is now personalized and in the mail! I did it all from my computer which means I won’t have to remind myself to drive down to the mailbox and stick an envelope in the box. My recipient will still get a physical card in the mail and not an email or facebook poke! 🙂
