Mint And Coral Bridal Shower

24 Sep

It would seem mint is the color for weddings this year! And why shouldn’t it be? It is gorgeous and elegant, especially when coupled with a color like coral.  My mom threw a mint and coral bridal shower last weekend. With the wedding colors being mint and coral, it only made sense that the shower colors were too. As usual, my mom did a great job with decorations. I love the way she dressed up the dining room nook with white table cloths and tissue paper flowers. She got the coral flowers, and mint and burlap table toppers from Hobby Lobby.

Pictured on the table is a ficus tree as well as a potted beach plant from our Caribbean themed dinner party we threw. She reused the chalkboard window from my baby shower, and wrote “She Said Yes” with a ring on it- SO adorable! Might be my favorite part. The table had this adorable bird cage:

Fruits, deli spirals and pastries were served

And I love the utensil caddy my mom has…

The burlap table topper had a black vinyl monogram initial on it for personal effect…

As did a framed piece of burlap, accented with paper flowers my mother made:

This was such a simple yet chic shower with mint and coral decor!
