Principal’s day

3 Mar

Does any other state have Principal’s Day? I had never heard of it until Missouri. Nonetheless, here is an easy gift idea for your kid’s Principal, or even for teacher appreciation! Get your school staff revved up for summer with a cute themed picnic basket and poem.

What You’ll Need:
Basket
red checkered fabric cut to fit
homemade mini bread loaves
grapes
a summer sausage
crackers
block cheese
water bottlechocolate mints
Added Poem:
Winter days are gloomy but summer is near, here’s a basket to spread good cheer! Hope you find a wonderful way to have a great Principal’s Day!”
Principal's day picnic basket Idea

One reason I love this gift idea, is because having worked in an office setting myself, snacky items are such a treat to keep at my desk. When we gave this gift to the Principal’s at the school, they baskets were near empty by the end of the day! It was a great gift for the office staff to go in on together, too. Assign participants a different item to add to the basket to keep costs low.

I love that … what a great gift to get. Might have to copy that for our principal, although I don’t think we have an official appreciation day.
