For many of my readers, kids are back in school and routines are being reestablished. For my household, we may not have kids in school but we have a mommy in school. A mommy in school, and a working mommy. I know, you might think I'm insane. I have three kids 3 years and under, I work some nights, I go to school part time- why fill my plate so full? Well, because it's not always so hard. A new way I've kept it all together was simplifying meal times. And with all the Manwich Recipes and possibilities, dinner time just got that much easier on me. Now, I don't have to feel bad rushing off to work after dinner because dinner preparations just got faster which leaves more family time around the table. Don't be jealous, I'm going to share with you a couple of our family favorites with Manwich.
You can do more with a can of Manwich than just the popular Sloppy Joe (which are popular for a reason!!! Yum!). We started our week with 3 Manwich cans.
1) Thick & Chunky, 2) Bold, 3) Original.
Using the Bold sauce, one night we made tacos. Basically substituting taco seasoning for Bold Sloppy Joe Sauce, we took our 30 minute meal prep to a whole new level. It was a family hit.
Later last week, we whipped out our can of Thick & Chunky Sloppy Joe Sauce and followed the directions on the back to make Sloppy Joe Corn Muffin Bake. It was SO easy and very delicious. My 3 year old even helped make it.
Brown your ground beef. Add the can of Thick & Chunky Sloppy Joe Sauce. Pour it in the bottom of a square casserole dish. Using a box of Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix; add 1 egg, 1/3 cup of milk and mix until there are no lumps. Spoon it on top of Sloppy Joe mixture.
Bake it at 400° until the top is golden brown. Let cool, and serve!
