Do your kids have a special treat they want or get when they are sick? Around flu season we tend to keep a lot of Otter Pops in stocked in our freezer for those sore throats, fevers, or just crummy days. Otter Pops are our super-fun (and cheap!) snack made with real fruit juice. The flavors are bold and tasty and I don’t mind stealing a few myself because they are fat free. Well, my 3 year old’s friend is sick this week with a nasty flu including a high fever (which is awful enough but terrible in Arizona heat!). So we whipped up a little something with our favorite treat in hopes of helping him feel better. It wouldn’t be a clever treat if we didn’t include a little play on words- so here you go “We thought you OTTER know…”
Whether it be a crummy day or a summer day, Otter Pops are a great way to cool off and put a smile on your face. Jolene loves when I tell her the name of the character as I cut one open for her. Each of us have our favorite “band” member. Jolene likes Loui-Bloo Raspberry. I’m a Strawberry Short-Kook fan. Roslyn is all about Poncho Punch. Aren’t the character names fun?
Is there someone you think “OTTER” know you’re thinking of them? I used Lavanderia. I created the tag shape, including the ribbon cut out, on my own and it is for Personal Use Only please.*
